Silent Sentinels 25 x 24 oil on canvas

Silent Sentinels

The full moons dispersion
Dampens the adjoining starfield
With its brightness
Keeping vigilant watch over the
Gently rolling ocean
Whale breeches then
Dives, surfacing 20 meters away
To spout and glide slowly
Across the watery wet
Undulating surface, then dives
Languidly flicking its tail
At the other
Silent sentinel.
